CONSTRUCT Engineering has extensive experience working for contractors on design build Construction Projects for both large scale projects and small parts of projects.
Structural design of building in all material forms based on either Eurocodes or US Codes. Experience in design of over 100 buildings ranging in height from 1 to 6 stories. Analysis types include static, linear, dynamic and non-linear analysis. Building locations, include: Ireland, California, Japan, Africa and Romania. Buildings include: commercial, residential, retail, industrial and manufacturing building.
Structural design of steel platforms, stairs, crane girders, pipe supports, plate metal civils tanks and various steel structures directly for steel fabricators. All designs are too the relevant Euro or US Codes and loads include, dead load, live load, wind load, seismic load, fluid thrust loads, crane loads and snow loads where required.
Structural design of pre-cast concrete stairs and pre-stressed Hollowcore slabs for pre-cast fabricator, all analysis is to the Eurocodes and includes lift analysis loading and connection design.
Design of structures for seismic loads in high seismic load regions such as California, Romania, Japan, Saudi Arabia and more recently Northern Holland. Structures include whole buildings, parts of buildings, pipes supports, electrical supports and utility bridges. Codes designed to include, ASCE, Eurocode 8, UFC's, FEMA codes and the IBC.
Structural design of temporary works including: shoring, scaffolding, formwork support, temporary walling and installation aids. Provision of temporary works certificates, calculations and drawings for submission. All temporary works solutions provide economic practical solutions.
Structural design of large civil structures, including reinforced concrete retaining walls, underground culverts, deep manholes, soil nailing solutions, reinforced concrete pump stations and reinforced concrete wastewater treatment tanks.
Structural design of bespoke Architecturally designed houses. Houses to high energy efficiency standards including the German Passivhaus standard. Experience in all material types, and experience in the design of finite element analysis of houses supported on reinforced concrete slab foundations supported on structural insulation.
Structural consultancy advise and Foundation design for the Irish based Artist Alex Pentek . Artwork includes Giant Bulrushes and folded perforated bronze plate.
Structural peer review to ensure code compliancy based on US and Euro codes. Reviews include advise on alternative detailing and structural approach's.
